Landscape: The cactus with the white fuzz on the top is called; "The Old Man of the Desert." They are native to areas where there is snowfall. The fuzz keeps the snow away from the cactus so it will not freeze. The cactus garden consists of approx 50 varities of spring blooming cacti; ocotillo's barrel cactus, California Gold Pincushions, Sunshine Plants, Reflexum, prickly pear, joshua tree, agaves and brightly colored ice plants in various colors of red, orange, yellow and purple. The large flower planter was made by a stone mason. He hand picked each rock by color and size, and chiseled each one to create a stunning planter.
