Built in 1940, this historic property was a passion project of the owner. The vision was to create an oasis in the desert. Leveraging knowledge from the ancient science of Vastu Shastra, the owner wanted this property to be a place for artists and art lovers and long-term apartments for military families. While the mountains on the south side of the property block the negative energy, water fountains in the north are placed strategically to increase positive energy. Additionally, the whole property is very colorful, making it stand out in the desert. In fact, many people stop by the property to take photos for social media (an excellent marketing opportunity…dare we say a viral opportunity). The housekeeper and property manager have been helping keep the property operational and nurturing good experiences with all of the customers for over 7 years. The north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center and downtown area is 0.6 miles from the property and is not far from The Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center either. In fact the annual Soapbox Derby happens right outside the property. The property has won review awards from Booking.com and tripadvisor.
